![]() Version 7.5 Features Version 7.5 is the biggest structural reorganization in FlowJo's history. This version which employs substantially more of the Java frameworks, and produces a network friendly, enterprise level analysis The details hopefully remain uninteresting to the biologist. We've worked to maintain high level performance needed for traditional benchtop data analysis, while evolving to an architecture that supports multiple processors, distributed compute engines, and secure data administration. Multi-threading: We have implemented two new models for parallelized computing. "Standard" (out of the box) configuration will benefit users with up to 4 processors on their machine. The advanced "Distributed" model, will allow for use of more than 4 processors, even over a network (distributed computing). Distributed mode also allows utilization of >2GB RAM on 64 bit computers. Strong increases in performance for both, see the stats here Preferences: Full preference settings for all areas of FlowJo: text, layouts, graphs, workspace and more. You can now add additional buttons to the tool bar in your workspace. Graph Window: T- button allows 1-click lin/log changes. Scale changes can be copied to all parameters Table Editor: Direct export options Heatmapping of table values Correlation plots Layout Editor: Two-click multigraph overlay options Simplified offset histogram options batch/iteration interface Revised backgating display Option to turn on "Simple Interface" for streamlining layout creation and obscuring complex options. Improved reporting and printing: 7.5 contains increased options for how your reports are formatted, depending on whether they are being written to files, printers or servers. You now have more capabilities to save and replay reports, increasing the ability to automate analysis. Workspace: Redesign of value series interface. Now allows user to input keyword/value-series pairs for more intuitive use of this feature Export/Concatenate now allows creation of new parameters in the Concatenation dialogue (for compiling/viewing longitudinal data as a single parameter in a new plot). Saving gate info into FCS files Platforms: Derived Params - Allows selective range for axis (like our Mac version) Redesigned user interface Cell Cycle - Improved fitting, improved handling of FCS 3.0 files Proliferation - Improved fitting, improved handling of FCS 3.0 files Acquisition: Cytek acquisition module. oh, and a sexy new look ;o |
